Role: Full Stack Developer

We pride ourselves on world-class client servicing, which is why our clients love working with us, and due to the rapid expansion of the business, we are looking for experienced Full-Stack Developers to join us and provide exceptional service to our current and forthcoming clients.

Dev team

You would be joining a small, friendly and dedicated team (3 engineers and 1 designer at the moment), so you’ll be able to have a big impact on the project and how we overcome the technical challenges going forward. We have a good mix of experience levels and half the team have been on the project since its inception (~ 3 years). We all work remotely and will continue to do so going forward.

The team has created a highly supportive and creative environment where it’s safe for everyone to explore new ideas, technologies and discuss plans openly. We work on consensus, so whilst the plans are in place, your input will always be valued. You’ll play a large role in mentoring and assisting the more junior team members as they’ll be reporting to you daily. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain management experience and help develop a platform in a startup’esque environment.

We’re also looking to expand both the engineering and design teams and will continue to grow as the company scales. 2

Performance

• Consistently produce performative and readable code.

• Contribute to technical discussions involving the future of the Goat CRM project.

• Reassess and review past code base, refactoring and improving where necessary.

• Stay informed of modern technologies and best practices that may prove useful to the CRM project, studying them when possible.

• Have full comprehension of both Front End and Back End code bases (Full Stack).

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails and developing API’s.

• Strong knowledge of and experience using ReactJS.

• Knowledge of Graphql in rails and react

• Experience deploying to Heroku and other Cloud based deployment products.

• Experience with the Algolia Search API would be beneficial.

• Experience working with a PostgreSQL database.
